We are part of an international Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. The Blue Knights LEMC was formed back in 1974 in a town in Bangor, Maine, USA. It was formed by a few Law Enforcement officers that had the idea of riding together, and that idea grew to what it is today. With 1000s of members world wide, Blue Knights have been involved in many fund-raising campaigns, raising thousands of pounds for charity. Its ethos is that of family fun and motorcycling, meeting Law Enforcement friends from around the world and promoting safe motorcycle riding. Blue Knights Wales 2 is one of 3 Welsh chapters.
We are based in Swansea and mostly our members come from South Wales. We also have members from Carmarthenshire and other areas surrounding South Wales Police Area. Membership is open to any serving or retired member of Law enforcement including Police, Customs and Excise, UK Border Agency and HM Prison Services who have a power of arrest.
